Sketch Saturday #762

Today it’s time for Sketch Saturday #762.  This week’s sketch is very versatile.  There are a couple of background layers and then a block of strips with a circle embellishment.

The twist is to include some ribbon.

Sketch Saturday #762

There are so many ways to use this sketch.  Of course, you can use either one or two layers for the background.  Then the block with the strips could be a striped patterned paper or actual strips of different papers.  They could be patterns or solids.  You could also just leave it as a solid block.

Since the twist was to include ribbon, any number of the strips could be ribbon as well.

For the circle, you could use a flower, a shaped die cut or sticker.  It is also the perfect place to put your sentiment, like I did.

I stayed pretty true to the sketch with strips of patterned paper and one piece of ribbon.  I stamped my sentiment then used a stitched circle die cut and layered it on top of another printed circle die cut.

I have two background layers and then I added the enamel dots in the bottom right corner.

I hope you visit the Sketch Saturday #762 blog post to see all the other design team’s cards and to link up your interpretation of this week’s sketch.
